31st August, attended LIONS REACh at Autistic Center with sister clubs Chung Hwa Confucian and Union High School.. We went there to witness the handover of mock cheques and helped out LIons Club of Tanjung, Penang..

Buka Puasa with the orphanages

On the 31st August which is National day
PP Raymond had invited to join in the BUka Puasa with the Muslim girl Orphanages
Lion Lee joint us too and he had told me that we should follow their traditions which is makan dengan tangan,said Lion Lee.
Btw, this is my 1st time to eat with hand, and know about their culture better.
and the pengetua of the wisma yatim told us that they had to pray after their meal and listened to the rang of the bell... its something on their religious,
and we had a nice visited and meal with them.

Attendants: Jocelyn, Raymin, Raymond, Cindy, Jong Shan, Hoong Ern and etc.

Lions Club of Tanjung, Penang's Anniversary

14th August was Lions club of Tanjung, Penang's Anniversary
Tanjung (Penang), Chung Hwa, Union and Jelutong were invited to be there to help on Registration,ushering and etc.

Region 1 Lions club Joint Installation

On the 20th of July 2010,
Region 1 Lions Clubs had jointly organized an installation at G-Hotel.
TYT had invited to be the Guest Of Honour
15 Leos from Tanjung, Pg City, Union and Chung Hwa Confucian had participate in this event, we helped them on ushering and held the banner during the installation.
and we did enjoyed ourselves and get to know more Lions in REGION 1.

MAD Celebration cum charity Hair Cutting

MAD Celebration is officially come to an end..

On the 28th August 2010, 9.20am, at Children's Protection Society, we did a cleaning for them for both outdoor and indoor with the helps from other Leos from Chung Hwa, Union, Gt City, Pg City and GTM... As well as Lions from Lions Club of Tanjung, Penang Lion Choo and Lion Lee( club Advisor).

For the Charity hair cutting, we managed to invite Inspiration Hair style academy to give us a full sponsor on the cutting for the orphanages.

Thank you everyone that gave me support and encouragement.

Attended "2+3" at Ipoh Tower Regency

PP Raymin Yew, PP Raymond Teoh, Leo Jocelyn and Leo Cindy together with Seok Theng had spent our precious time to attend the meaningful project which organized by 2 Lions Club from Ipoh and 2 Leo Clubs from Ipoh together with District Leo Cabinets.
In conjunction to witness our IPP PP Raymin Yew and PP Raymond Teoh to install as a director to the Leo Cabinet. The event was held in Tower Regency, Ipoh. Its started at 11am and ended at 3pm. We did enjoyed the whole event and we had a lot fun with Leos.

Attended Leo Club of SMK CheTom Installation and Induction

On the 31st July, after attended Leo Club of UHS project, Leo Jocelyn and Leo Cindy joined DVP Ch'ng, LEo Kwang and Leo Teoh to attend Leo Club of SMK Che Tom Installation and Indcution at Park Avenue Hotel, Sungai Petani. We felt grateful to welcome by them, because the leos there were friendly and nice. Surprisingly, we did meet their outgoing Leos who is our current classmate. Not bad right ?
Because Cindy and myself, were unfamiliar to the Leos over there, and luckily DVP Steven is kind enough to introduce their leos to us. Thank you so much!
Last but not least, we did have photo session with them and exchanged vest for photo session too... Is fun and enjoyable day with them.

Leo club of Union High School EM Mud balls making

On the 31st of July, Leo Jocelyn and Leo Cindy had attended Leo Club of Union High school which is our sister club EM Mud ball making project at their school canteen.
We went there together with DVP Ch'ng Kok Sheng, and Leo Kwang Min Xiang and Leo Teoh Him Keat from Penang City. This is to show our greatest support to the sister club's Leos.

What is EM ??

E.M. is an abbreviation for EFFECTIVE MICROORGANISMS Microorganisms are tiny units of life that are too small to be seen with the naked eye and they exist everywhere in nature. Microorganisms are crucial for maintaining the ecological balance. They carry out chemical processes that make it possible for all other organisms including humans to live. There are friendly guys of the microbial worlds known as beneficial microorganisms and a not so friendly group called pathogens that are harmful and capable of producing disease, decay and pollution. The EM Mud balls are useful as one of the environmental solutions towards reducing water pollutants and thus improving water quality in our rivers and drains. The fermentation emitted from the mud balls will alleviate or destroy the ammonia nitrogen found in human effluents and sewerage leakages into the water system. These mud balls will be drop at Parit 4 near Desa Damai Bukit Mertajam which is a very seriously polluted waterway. The exercise will be carried out every 4 months.

GTM initiation, installation and anniversary cum movie with orphanages

On the 4th July 2010, the beginning of the new term, club president had attended Leo Club of Georgetown Mutiara Initiation, Installation and Anniversary cum movie with orphanages which held at Cineplex, Prangin Mall, and its started at 10.30am.
The event started with a formal ceremony for their members and BOD and followed by the movie (Toy Story 3)
